How many CE hours do I need to complete?
Continuing Education (CE) is a requirement for insurance professionals to maintain their licenses by completing a certain number of educational hours. It helps you stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and practices.
When does my CE get reported to the state?
Your required hours depend on your license type and state. Texas adjusters need 24 CE hours per renewal cycle, including 3 required ethics hours. At least half of your total hours (12 of the 24) must be classroom-equivalent courses. Your license renews every 2 years based on your birth date. Do your courses meet my state’s CE requirements?
Yes. All Mosaic CE courses are accredited by TDI and assigned a state course ID.
What if I don't finish before my renewal deadline?
Yes, in most states, you can complete your required CE hours online through accredited courses, which are designed to meet state regulations. Be sure to verify with your state if any in-person courses are required.
How long do I have to complete a course?
Once you complete a course, we report your hours to TDI within 1 business day.
Can I retake a course if I don't pass?
Missing your renewal deadline in Texas can result in a $50 fine per late hour, up to $500. We recommend completing your CE at least 30 days before your deadline to avoid a lapse. If you’re licensed in another state, check with your state’s Department of Insurance for its specific rules.
What is your refund policy?
You have 12 months of access from your purchase date. Keep in mind your license renewal deadline may come sooner than that, so it’s your responsibility to finish before your specific deadline, not just within the 12-month access window.
